Boss was no where to be seen.Zero work and 9 hours to kill the crap out of time.
What would a software engineer do if he had no work but has to sit infront of the duckin computer all day? -

BEEEP!... Its blocked.Let alone orkut ,..every duckin website that offers atleast 1% of delight to a person looking for some ...ahem...action is blocked by the so called proxy server.The webpage most visited by the company employees last year was THIS SITE IS BLOCKED page and naukri.com until the latter was blocked with a warning broadcast mail which some employees still consider as a close shave from you know wat.So the only thing left for you to do is to think....and thats wat i did.I thought about how the time had changed me...both physically,emotionally and mentally.Those boring thoughts again huh.

A series of changes occured over the past decade or so which transformed me into this guy whom i never ever thought of becoming.I hated the word called CHANGE.Hated changes in my life.Hated when i had to move to Chennai,...hated when my department got shifted to a new building in college,...hated when i had to change my school uniform from extremely comfortable shorts to pants after 4th grade.How simple life wud have been if you could just press the pause button as soon as you smell something changing?.A pause from this wacking days,a pause from growing up,a pause in my second year of college,..a pause in my 4th grade.

Yawn...(with that ridiculously loud HOAAAAMH sound.Thank god ,boss is not at his desk.A series of giggles from the neighbouring cubicle.I gave a I-dont-give-a-weasle's-ass look .Burn! )

Leave pausing.Maybe a rewind.Yeah!.....a rewind would have done good.Then i probably would live those college years.Would never bunk class on mondays,will be a lil more attentive and i swear i would have visited the library.To top it all , i would have made a certain person know how i feel about her.

But hey!!.....This aint that bad.Atleast i am well paid.Although i hate my work,i enjoy the weekends hangin out with my bro.And sometimes during week days , i get drunk,not just any drunk,..Homer Simpson drunk.I buy what i want with my money,wherever i go they open the doors ,address me as SIR
(well doesnt they do that to every guy wearing a decent pants in Chennai?..Nevermind.)

A big zero for future though.This financial crisis had left a big stain over my MS in US plan.Next thing i can do is M B A which i dont think i can take up.My mirror doesnt show a guy who could MANAGE stuff.Hell,..I cant even manage myself then how the heck am i gonna manage an account,or..a team.If i get a profile which could really put a wide smile on my face then , i ll surely take it.Maybe instead of whining over the changes that had happened , i shud take everything as it comes in.

yeah!,...that sounds likka better idea.Pause,Rewind scenario is completely impossible for now so what has happened has happened ,wats gonna happen will happen.Till then lemme think about something fun like Priyanka Chopra, Sameera Reddy,Jessica Alba...servlet programming with AJAX for user interface.
